The classic Bialetti Moka Express
It's probably your first memory of 'good' coffee made at home...because at some stage everyone has had one, especially your parents and grandparents. Invented in 1933 by Alfonfo Bialetti after observing the design of a contemporary clothes washing boiler. This ingenious design succeeded because it was so simple but made a better coffee by incorporating pressure brewing with suitable water temperature. The 3 cup is the classic size found in so many homes; it takes about 20g of ground coffee and delivers a really good example of a double espresso that you can drink straight or dilute into other formats.
Features:
- 20g dose
- makes 40-60mL of excellent stove-top espresso coffee
- requires no consumable parts
- Cast aluminum construction, made in Italy
- weight: xxxg
